HKUST students, staff, and alumni bring you the HKUST Summer Musical 2017 production of A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Broadway’s greatest farce!
Follow Pseudolus, a crafty slave, who tries win the hand of a beautiful, but slow-witted, courtesan for his young master, Hero, in exchange for his freedom. The show combines situations from 2000-year-old comedies of Roman playwright, Plautus, with the infectious energy of classic vaudeville, featuring music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim.
The HKUST Summer Musical 2017 is presented as part of the creative arts initiatives of the School of Humanities and Social Science with support from the President’s 1-HKUST Student Life Award and Student Affairs Office.
